This is Montice pictures with Bobby. Montice worked at IU in the food service department. Montice kept the mood light and had us laughing when he would come to Bobby’s room to take his meal orders and deliver meals. He was an easygoing young man and cracked jokes with Bobby. He made us all laugh…even when Bobby wasn’t feeling so great. Montice always had a smile on his face when he walked into Bobby’s room. It was a pleasure visiting with him. There were some pretty difficult days for Bobby in the hospital and Montice brightened our moods when he’d stop by. Thanks Montice!! I wish I would’ve gotten some photos of some of the other hospital staff that took care of Bobby. The nurses were great. Overall our experience with the people of Indy was a good one…especially given the circumstances that we were there for. Thanks IU nurses, doctors and hospital staff…and thanks to the SON Foundation house that stepped in and provided lodging when all the hotels were booked solid for the Indy 500. Thank you people of Indy!!
